About Us

Vrikshalay Foundation is a community-driven movement committed to protecting and nurturing nature. We are a collective of nature lovers, change-makers, and responsible citizens working towards a plastic-free India, greener cities and villages through tree plantation, clean and pure rivers, and an environmentally conscious society. With the belief that “when we care for nature, we secure our future,” we dedicate every Sunday to the service of nature through tree plantations, cleanliness drives, awareness programs, and sustainable initiatives. Vrikshalay Foundation is not just an organization, but a revolution for a greener tomorrow.

Our Story –

The Roots of Vrakshalay

Vrakshalay began with a simple question: “How can we give back to nature?

Our founder, Prashant Pateriya, a government panel lawyer, carried this thought since childhood. His work in advocacy often centered on sustainability and protecting rivers, but the turning point came during his Narmada Yatra. Witnessing the river’s decline transformed concern into conviction.

From that moment, Vrakshalay was born. Committed to planting trees, saving rivers, and creating spaces like Sehatgraah where people can heal in harmony with the earth.
